A collaborative exhibition with fellow emerging artist and longterm friend, Nicole Covurluain. Grounded in a shared history, this series of paintings offers a personal exploration of memory, place, and the evolving nature of identity. Set against the backdrop of Bray, the work traces the inner worlds of two artists whose lives have shifted and expanded together, painted side by side.

Inspired by the 1967 animated film of the same name, the exhibition follows the tradjectory from early childhood through adolescence to womanhood. Like a carousel's cyclical motion, the artists suggest that life continually returns to recurring themes. The collection unfolds asa theatre of costume, capturing the charged intensity of teenage becoming and the experimentation inherent in self-transformation, a search for a footing that feels authentic.

Across the works, both artists employ props, symbols and ceremonial gestures to navigate inherited expectations and the quiet legacies carried across generations. Subtle currents of religious imagery and the rituals of girlhood run throughout, positioning this first collaboration as an intimate visual dialogue between two friends. The exhibition ultimately reflects the enduring influence of the places and relationships that shape who we become.
