On November 23rd, 2023, Drella’s Basement returned to the underground for its third and final chapter, taking over 'The Goodies' cafe in the basement of The National College of Art and Design, NCAD.

Backed by the NCAD Students' Union (NCADSU) and executed in partnership with two fellow art collectives, the project set out to completely re-contextualize the college’s basement canteen as a gallery space.

The event successfully blurred the lines between a traditional gallery and a late night cultural hub. For one night, the repurposed space became a immersive experience soundtracked by a live jazz band.

To keep the curation close to its roots, the open call was run through physical posters flyposted across campus and online.
